In coming weeks and months, due to hardship related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we anticipate the need for this fund to significantly increase. The most vulnerable in our community will feel the impacts first and longest.

The Gospel Tab's Benevolence Fund has long been in service of our community. Stewarded by our Deacons, the fund provides food, rent, utility payments, and other forms of relief in emergency situations. In these days of crisis, we will be using the fund primarily for the elderly and families with children who are identified through The Greenhouse Network, a relational association of missional efforts in our community. This network is already relationally embedded with vulnerable people and able to specifically identify needs in the community.
None of the money given to the fund goes into the Tab's operational budget. All is designated for disbursement in the community.
